Rwandan Kivu

The elevated volcanic soil and consistent rainfall around Lake Kivu produces some of the best coffee in the world. The lake sits on the border of Rwanda and Congo, in East Africa. These beans come from a single island on the eastern side of the lake, in Rwanda. This coffee has notes of orange, tangy taffy candy, and apple and good acidity.


Burundi is locked into the heart of Africa, with the long coast of Lake Tanganyika to the west, Rwanda to the north, and Tanzania to the southeast. The high altitudes along the coast of Lake Tanganyika give this single-origin bourbon variety coffee its unique sweetness and intense body. It’s exceptional flavor is sure delight coffee lovers.
